One link, two ways through it
The whole session lives in one folder on your website. You drive the projector from a presenter console on your laptop. Participants open the same site on their own laptops and move at their own pace. Their screens are never linked to yours.
Open the hub, then the presenter console. The slides go on the projector, and the group gallery sits in a second tab. Use the kit and sheets for reference.
Scan the QR to reach the hub, then go to MVP Studio. They can open the slides and kit to look back, and use the sheets if the Wi-Fi drops.
Your side
Three windows on one laptop
Both slide windows run in the same browser on your laptop. The projector window follows whatever you do in the console. Participants' laptops only load pages from your website.
- Open the console
On the venue laptop, open your hub link, then Presenter console. Or open the slides and press P.
- Send slides to the projector
Click Open audience window in the console, drag that window to the projector display and press F.
- Keep the gallery ready
In the console, under "Open in a second tab", click Group gallery. Hub, Kit and Studio open in that same tab.
Open everything from your website address, in one browser (for example Chrome only). The projector won't follow the console if the page was opened as a file from your disk or in a different browser.
Minute by minute
Who opens what, and when
Your lane and theirs, side by side. Press Rehearse to step through the session. On the day, the current row lights up by the clock.
Their side
The participant path in MVP Studio
Six steps in Studio. Building happens in Google AI Studio in another tab. Groups go back and forth between Iterate and the preview. Their share code is the only thing that reaches you.
Saved in each group's own browser. It stays as long as they keep the same laptop and browser and don't use a private window.
A short text summary of the group's work. Pasting it into the gallery rebuilds their card. Ask for it again if a group changes laptop.
Saved in your browser only. If you switch laptops, paste the codes again.
Shared only between your console and projector windows. Participants browse their own copy of the slides.
Nothing is sent to a server. The site is plain files, so it also works on a slow connection once a page has loaded. Only Google AI Studio needs the internet.
On the day
If something goes wrong
The usual problems and the fastest way out of each one.
The projector stops following the console
Check that both windows are in the same browser and were opened from your web address. As a backup, click the projector window and use ← → there.
The QR opens the wrong address
The QR is drawn from the address in the browser bar. Open the slides and the hub from your published link, not from a file on your disk.
A group lost its work
They probably changed laptop or browser, or used a private window. Paste their last share code into the gallery to recover the summary. The printed canvas is the fallback.
The menu or toolbar shows on the projector
Move the mouse off the projector screen. Both hide after about three seconds. Press B to black out the screen at any time.
A timer needs a restart
A timer starts the first time its slide appears. Reload the projector window on that slide and it reopens there with the timer at full time.
The Wi-Fi drops
Studio, slides and kit keep working once loaded. Switch groups to the printed canvas and prompt cards. The hidden Plan B slide appears when you press H.
The day before
Ready check
Five checks on the laptop you will use at Tasik Chini. Ticks are saved in this browser. The full prep list is in the kit.
